Rob Kniaz

Rob is a partner in the first three funds of Hoxton Ventures. Born and raised in the USA, he has a technical background studying Computer Science at Maryland and later Management Science & Engineering at Stanford. He worked at Intel and Google, which later brought him to London where he joined the investments team at Fidelity.

He has a particular interest in the massively expanding and the exciting biotech sector where it increasingly consumes computational power. Rob continues to code (on an amateur basis!), mostly developing internal data science tools. Outside of work, Rob enjoys traveling (aiming to cross 100 countries shortly) and spending time with his wife, a medical doctor and two young daughters.

He represents Hoxton on the boards of Assetario, Boost Security, CCX, Deblock, FabricNano, Flair Impact, Formance, Limbo Revolution, Multiomic Health, NoMagic, Ordercast, Pear Bio, Phagos, PharmaCCX, Preply, Spacelift, Valink Therapeutics, and previously was on the boards of Babylon Health (NYSE:BBLN), Bother, Campanja (acquired by 24/7 Media), Immunio (acquired by Trend Micro), Kheiron Medical (acquired by RadNet) and Vatic Health. He additionally manages Hoxton’s interests in Ochre Bio and Optimoroute.
